Barbara Thormann cleared, burned, and sprayed her property in 2000 and 2001. All the vegetation on her neighbor's property burned.

She lost her carport, but her house was saved.  Her neighbor signed up for the Willow Creek Watershed Restoration project, but the work was not completed before the fire.
